About Rhonda M. Ware, J.D.

Ware, J.D., founder of UR Aware and Rhonda Ware Solutions, is a life and leadership strategy coach and speaker with a national clientele consisting of emerging and established leaders in finance, diversity and inclusion, legal, corporate, and non-profit organizations.
Rhonda has dedicated her career to helping people embrace their God-given gifts and strengths to maximize their impact in life and business. Since receiving her bachelor of arts degree from DePaul University in 1995 and her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 2002, Rhonda distinguished herself as an award-winning attorney, facilitator, non-profit leader, advocate and public servant.
She prosecuted drug possession, assault and battery cases as an assistant district attorney in Massachusetts and represented regional and national corporations as a civil litigation attorney in Wisconsin. Rhonda also empowered thousands of people across the country and abroad to identify, prevent and confront men’s violence against women through her work with the Mentors in Violence Prevention Program.
Rhonda led a Research Center that conducted research, outreach, and developed curricula to positively impact the lives of women and girls. She also authored pieces featured in NPR’s News & Notes with Ed Gordon and Black Star News.
Rhonda’s professional accomplishments have been recognized through the Edward J. Brooke Award of Excellence, the Milwaukee Business Journal Forty under 40 Award (’09), the DePaul University 14 under 40 Award (’10), and the Milwaukee Business Journal Woman of Influence Award (’15). Realizing that although she had experienced success in her professional life, she was called to do more, so Rhonda founded UR Aware, LLC to empower women around the world. As an umbrella to all her work, Rhonda has accomplished with corporations, she expanded and transformed UR Aware to become Rhonda Ware Solutions. To date, she has guided many to release limiting beliefs, identify their strengths, and share their gifts in all aspects of their lives, to experience greater levels of professional and personal success.

I have empowered thousands to identify, prevent and confront violence against women through my work with the Mentors in Violence Prevention Program. I was also a panelist for WUWM Public Radio’s Across The Divide: #MeToo.
A Lover of Music and Dance
During my days in the classical symphony orchestra, I traveled to Kumamoto, Japan, where I played my violin at the foot of a volcano!

Soon after Hurricane Katrina struck, I composed a poem issuing a plea against forgetting about the victims. Read it here.
