About Rhonda M. Ware, J.D.

Coach. Speaker. Lawyer. Diversity & Inclusion Advocate.
Rhonda M. Ware, J.D., is the founder of UR Aware/Rhonda Ware Solutions, a life and leadership strategy firm that supports emerging and established leaders across legal, corporate, finance, and nonprofit sectors nationwide. Rhonda is a seasoned speaker and executive coach dedicated to helping people embrace their God-given gifts and strengths to maximize their impact in life and business.

Since earning her Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University (1995) and graduating cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School (2002), Rhonda has distinguished herself as an award-winning attorney, public speaker, facilitator, nonprofit leader, and advocate.

Rhonda began her legal career as an assistant district attorney in Massachusetts, prosecuting drug possession, assault, and battery cases. She later represented regional and national corporations in civil litigation in Wisconsin. Her passion for advocacy extended beyond the courtroom as she empowered thousands of people—nationally and internationally—to identify, prevent, and confront men’s violence against women through her work with the Mentors in Violence Prevention Program.

Rhonda also led a research center focused on improving the lives of women and girls, where she oversaw outreach, curriculum development, and national-level research. Her thought leadership featured in NPR’s News & Notes with Ed Gordon, Black Star News, Bloomberg Law, and Attorney at Law Magazine.

Her contributions have earned her widespread recognition, including the Edward J. Brooke Award of Excellence, Milwaukee Business Journal Forty Under 40, DePaul University 14 Under 40, Milwaukee Business Journal Woman of Influence Award, and the Austin Black Business Journal’s Most Influential Lawyer Award.

After years of external success, Rhonda felt called to do more. She founded UR Aware to empower women globally. She later expanded it into Rhonda Ware Solutions, the umbrella for her transformational work with corporations, leaders, and teams. Today, she guides individuals to release limiting beliefs, activate their strengths, and share their gifts with the world—experiencing deeper purpose, greater confidence, and higher levels of professional and personal fulfillment.

I have empowered thousands to identify, prevent and confront violence against women through my work with the Mentors in Violence Prevention Program. I was also a panelist for WUWM Public Radio’s Across The Divide: #MeToo.

A Lover of Music and Dance

During my days in the classical symphony orchestra, I traveled to Kumamoto, Japan, where I played my violin at the foot of a volcano!

A Poet At Heart

Soon after Hurricane Katrina struck, I composed a poem issuing a plea against forgetting about the victims. Read it here.
