Quite honestly, it took me a while to find a coach. I took the process of identifying a coach very seriously and was pragmatic in my research. It was my first time being provided this opportunity and I wanted to make the most of it. I interviewed several coaches and Rhonda was an easy choice. I like to say she spoke to my head and my heart. She also came highly recommended by several women who I respect and admire.

I began my work with Rhonda at a very critical time in my leadership. I was halfway through my first year of formal management. Things were going well for me and I knew being more intentional about my personal and professional development would only help. Right away, I could be transparent with Rhonda about my challenges and areas of growth opportunity. She supported me through this sometimes-difficult personal work with caring and wisdom. She was patient with me and recognized my learning style very early on, I thrive on structure.

Throughout this experience, I have certainly become more self-aware. I am growing in my leadership capabilities and with the guidance of Rhonda, I have developed solid processes that I will use throughout my life. I am increasingly intentional about how I spend my time and have learned to say no with purpose and yes with confidence. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from Rhonda, to explore myself with intention and to become a more thoughtful, reflective and empowered leader.
