Becoming a new Executive Director was both exhilarating and frightening for me. Exhilarating because it provided me the platform to speak on behalf of and advocate for an organization, which in many ways, nurtured and fostered my ability to serve in this new capacity. Frightening because of my fears (False Evidences Appearing Real) generated by comparing others strengths with my perceived weaknesses.

Through Rhonda Ware’s coaching, I received the tools to peel back layers on insecurities, self-doubt, and preconceived notions of what I thought I “SHOULD BE”, and began crawling, then walking, now RUNNING in the knowledge that what and who I am – is special, unique, and NEEDED for the organization I love and lead – and the world around me.
