Walk Through Your Open Door
“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” ~ Revelations 3:8 KJV
More times than not, I find myself sharing with my clients about the importance of saying no while on the road to living a life of purpose on purpose. The power of no leaves room for yes.
If someone tells you no, that is okay because God is making room for the yes. Be happy when you hear no because that means yes is on the way. Why do I feel strongly about the power of no and it’s relationship to the yes you’ve been believing for? Because God has set before us all an open door that no man can shut. If the door in front of you does not open, what is behind it is not for you.
If the job you applied for is offered to someone else, that job isn’t yours. If the person selling their home rejects the offer you put down on the house, that is not the house you’ll raise your family in. If the man you’re dating suddenly stops calling you and starts dating someone else, he isn’t your husband. But fear not and don’t grow weary: If you obey God and don’t deny Him, no one can take the job that’s for you, the house that’s for you, the spouse that’s for you or anything else that’s just for you. So go ahead and walk through your open door.
